Ford Converts New F-150 For Police Use

There are already a lot of people looking for to the 2018 Ford F-150 and its release later this year. Now you can add police departments to that roster.

Ford, in a move to expand its already dominant presence in the production of police vehicles, has announced the 2018 F-150 Police Responder. Based on the new F-150, the Police Responder will come with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that can produce 375 horsepower and 470 pounds-feet of torque. With a towing capacity of 7,000 pounds, 132 cubic feet of cargo space, and a top speed of 100 MP, the Police Responder will leverage the top tier capabilities of the F-150 to help police departments do their jobs.
